Sandtex® Rapid Dry Plus Soft Satin is an innovative exterior paint that gives you the finish of a solvent-based paint but with a water-based formulation. This means you get fast drying and recoat times and virtually no odour making it easy to work with. Touch dry in only two hours it gives you a lovely soft satin finish to your doors, windows, gates, railings and more. Available in a range of colours it's a quick and easy way to refresh your garden and give a stylish finish to the exterior.

Preparation

Ensure the surfaces is clean, dry and free from dirt and grease as this may affect the adhesion of Sandtex Rapid Dry Plus Soft Satin.

• Apply as a basecoat on bare and previously painted surfaces.
• It can be applied directly over a conventional glass system providing the surface is sound and thoroughly abraded prior to applications.

Application

Always ensure to perform a test patch prior to applying the paint to ensure you are happy with the finished results. Ensure to properly prepare surfaces prior to application.

• Stir the product thoroughly and perform a test patch to ensure you are happy with the finished results.
• Always intermix tins for colour consistency.
• Apply using a synthetic brush or good quality microfibre roller.
• For the best finish avoid over brushing in areas that are drying.
• Apply two coats allowing 4-6 hours between coats.
